Love in Feeling

Biplob Kabiraz

If my love never reaches the depths of your heart,
Then those feelings are mere words—silent, senseless, a lifeless poem.

If I say "I love you" a thousand times,
Yet you never feel a trace of it in your breath,
Then my love is like morning mist—
It brushes past but never stays, vanishing with the light.

Love means being understood—in silence, in solitude, in quiet tears.
Love means being felt—a tune that plays within without a single touch.
If you cannot sense how deeply I’ve longed for you,
Then my longing is nothing more than a selfish craving.

If love flows only one way,
It may be emotion, but it’s not truly love.
If the other heart cannot feel its touch—
Then that love has no place on the stage of life.

Love is only real
When you understand—without a word—
That I whisper your name
With every breath I take.
